The BTP continued to record marked progress in 2016, led by an increase in the number of BTP Trigger Projects to 51 as of April 2016, from 25 as at December 2014. In 2020, these projects will contribute RM5.98 billion in GNI, and create 25,397 employment opportunities and RM18.32 billion in investment by 2020.
